The objective is part of the Regional Project for the Development of Water and Wastewater Infrastructure in Gorj County. The works were carried out on 5 streets in Târgu Cărbunești City and included: extension of the household sewerage network over a length of 429 m, rehabilitation of the household sewerage network over a length of 1.45 km, 159 connections, installation of PVC pipe over a length of 1.55 km, 77 inspection manholes, and 151 new fully equipped branch manholes.
