History

Domarcons was founded in 1994 in Craiova, Romania, with its main activity being the execution of road and bridge works.

We carried out our first contract with a cash & carry hypermarket, the first built in the Oltenia region, where we built the parking lot.

We completed our first contract for the execution of a county road – the modernization of DJ Radovan – Lipovu – Cerăt.

We opened the quarry for the exploitation of granite rocks for construction in the Dealul Pleșa area (Bumbești-Jiu, Gorj), a quarry that has been developing ever since. At the same time, we commissioned the granite crushing-sorting plant in the town of Bumbești-Jiu, Gorj County.

We moved into our new headquarters in Craiova, Inginerilor Street no. 22, where the administrative pavilion is also located, with a built area of approximately 600 sqm. Here we also set up the production base, covering an area of 23,000 sqm, equipped with all necessary utilities.

We completed a special project, important both for the company and for the local community – the Development of the Civic Center of Craiova.

We purchased the second mobile asphalt mixing plant (SIM Easy Batch), which offers us flexibility and independence in producing asphalt mixes in locations situated at considerable distances from the main production base.

We completed a project of national interest, important both for the company and for the national road infrastructure – the consolidation of the viaduct on DN 7 km 200+615 over the lake bank at Cozia.

We purchased the third asphalt mixing plant – Benninghoven MBA 2000, equipment that significantly increased production capacity and expanded our coverage area.

We opened a new work site in Turcoaia commune, Tulcea County, where we installed the SIM Easy Batch asphalt plant.

We signed two significant contractual agreements for the infrastructure of Dolj County, regarding the modernization of county roads DJ552 and DJ561A.

We opened a new work site for the production of asphalt mixes in the town of Bumbești-Jiu, Gorj County, where we installed the Benninghoven MBA 2000 asphalt plant.

We built a 400 kW photovoltaic park, which supplies the work site in Bumbești-Jiu, both for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and for energy efficiency.

We proudly mark 30 years of excellence in the field of road and bridge construction! Over the course of these three decades, we have succeeded in establishing ourselves as a serious and reliable builder, contributing significantly to the modernization of road infrastructure in the region.
