DN 7 Rm. Vâlcea – Sibiu crosses the right bank of Lake Cozia at km 200+615, near the locality of Cozia, on a bridge built in 1983. The objective of the project was the rehabilitation of the viaduct of 636.50 m (total length together with ramps 750 m), having a carriageway width of 8.30 m, total deck width 12.10 m, and 30 spans. Rehabilitation works were carried out on the superstructure with complete reconstruction of the reinforced concrete slab and replacement of beams on certain spans. The rehabilitation of the infrastructure included, besides classic works, the underwater jacketing of the piers.
