DJ542 (km 17+610 to km 45+170) connects the Olt County border with the town of Dăbuleni (DN54A), crossing the localities of Zvorsca – Amărăștii de Sus – Amărăștii de Jos. The modernized road has a length of 27.56 km. The works also included 8 bridges, culverts, 285 property accesses, water drainage, 5.75 km of sidewalks, over 150 side roads, 6 bus stations, and road safety works.
